Mad Art Gallery is proud to present the King of country western troubadours Unknown Hinson. Leaving a trail of jealous husbands and adoring women in his wake, Unknown Hinson is touring the country spreading his message of peace, love and party liquor and he don't take no mess. Be there when Unknown Hinson descends on St. Louis, armed with his guitar and revolver, and plays his chart-toppin' hits.
The vampirical Hinson's dark good looks, mesmerizing voice and amazing guitar playing are legendary in certain circles on the fringes of society. His songs mix humorous southern story telling with heavy, metal-tinged country and western guitar riffs. Finished off with a generous dose of some of life's darker things, the results are purely original and purely Unknown.
Named "Find of the Year" in 2007 by Rockabilly Magazine, Unknown Hinson is also the voice of Squidbillies' Early Cuyler, featured on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.
As a live performer, Unknown Hinson has shared the stage with many notable rockabilly, country, and psychobilly acts such as The Reverend Horton Heat, Marty Stuart, and Hank III, to name a few. He is an accomplished and respected performer with a strong cult following and many high-profile fans, including Billy Bob Thornton and Matt Groening. Hank III, grandson of Hank Williams, has Unknown's face tattooed on his bicep.
